At Umovity, we are driven by the vision of a Dynamic Multimodal Network Management system that seamlessly integrates management, operational planning, and decision-support tools. Our goal is to empower cities and organizations to shape and optimize mobility across all transportation modes.

By leveraging diverse data sources—including field devices such as Econolite’s Evo Radar®, live Floating Car Data, and long-term data repositories—we are building a connected ecosystem for dynamic mobility planning and control, both in real time and for long-term strategies.

With cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and model-based methodologies, the system will enhance urban mobility by improving transport planning, managing disruptions, and mitigating congestion equipping cities to respond swiftly and effectively to both planned and unexpected changes in mobility demand.

Who is Dynamic Multimodal Network Management for?

We want to support cities that need to plan, organize, offer, and operate multimodal transportation solutions with seamless integration between different modes of transport—including public transit, walking, cycling, shared mobility services, and, in the future, connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs).

Furthermore, we aim to support organizations responsible for the planning, operation, monitoring, control, and governance of urban mobility services—such as traffic departments, public transport and mobility agencies, municipal police forces, and road and transit operators—by providing solutions that offer:

  • Historical and real-time data across different transport systems, by integrating diverse data sources to enable comprehensive situation awareness.
  • Tools to reduce the impact of both predictable and unpredictable congestion events, through timely planning, mitigation, and disruption response actions. This includes responding to planned or unexpected changes in road or service networks, or fluctuations in mobility demand.
  • Advanced Travel Demand Management (ATDM) techniques and strategies, which leverage and anticipate the development and deployment of V2X connectivity and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs).
